Jodi Edwards-Wright, Adviser

Mrs. Edwards joined AdVenture STEM in August 2016 after being an administrator for 14 years. She started her teaching career at Santa Teresa High School in 1994, teaching sophomores, juniors and seniors Desktop Publishing in the Business Magnet at ST until she was recruited to open Evergreen Valley High School in 2002. She was a vice principal for Campbell Union High School District from 2004 to 2014, when she became a Director of Instruction and Accountability at MetroED, a district that provides Career Technical Education for students across the South Bay. She joined AdVenture after she realized she missed working with students and teachers in the classroom. It's been an amazing ride ever since.

The students and parents here have honed her teaching and STEM skills. She even spent this past summer on a teaching fellowship at Amazon Lab. This is Mrs. Edwards second year teaching Digital Journalism. When she's not at school, she's busy raising a family of preteens and a college student with her husband, Mangala, who is a chef. In her spare time, she sings in a band and helps Mangala feed the homeless, one of his many projects of gratitude giving back to the community.
