Anneke Laurence, a 7th grader that has been at AdVENTURE STEM since 5th grade, spent 5 months living without a kitchen or living room because her parents decided to remodel that half of the house to make the kitchen bigger. Anneke enjoys reading books, writing stories of her own and listening to Billie Eilish and various musicals. In her spare time, she write stories, plays  games with her friends online, and procrastinate on her homework. She was in Herman's Track and Field during sixth grade in the spring of 2018 and plans on joining again this year. Her dad is from Australia and her mom moved to Poughkeepsie, New York, from England in 7th grade. Anneke has been playing piano since kindergarten and is planning to quit in the new year to learn violin. She has been to Australia two times and might move to Melbourne, Australia, for high school.
