“Physical fitness is an important component leading to a healthy lifestyle. Physical activity helps students stay in shape, develop muscular strength and improve cardiovascular health.” At The AdVenture STEM Program, all students take a physical education class (PE).

Students run laps around the track every single day; running is very good for your lower and upper body strength. PE could help children and adolescents improve cardiorespiratory fitness, build strong bones and muscles, control weight, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and reduce the risk of development of harmful conditions.

At AdVenture, students run every single day. They do many types of runs but they usually run laps. Arjun Mann goes to AdVenture, and he runs every day.”PE is a really fun class. I like running because it makes you feel like you’re losing weight and in shape. What I hate when I run laps is when I’m near last place because it makes me feel different from other people and not as fast.”

PE is a very important activity that will help you stay in shape. PE is needed to increase the physical competence, health-related fitness, self-responsibility and enjoyment of physical activity for all students so that they can be physically active for a lifetime.

It’s great how the person who you interviewed could relate to what you listed on how you feel after you run.
